Kazakhstan Plans Unified Register for Military Draft Notices

Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry is planning to create a unified register of draft notices, Orda.kz reports.
The new register is intended to improve the effectiveness of notification, make the conscription campaign more transparent, and strengthen compliance with military service obligations.
The unified register of draft notices will allow us to bring the notification system to a new level. We are creating a modern mechanism that will ensure timely notification of citizens and the fulfillment of their constitutional duty.Defense Minister Dauren Kosanov said.
The Defense Ministry is also considering temporary restrictions for draft evaders. The ministry stressed that such measures would be applied only within the framework of the law. It did not specify what restrictions were being considered.
