Kazakhstan plans to launch a pilot program supporting women couriers facing difficult or crisis situations, Orda.kz reports.

The Labor Ministry, an unnamed delivery service and the Isker Support Center Foundation have signed a memorandum establishing the project.

Participants will receive help accessing social services and government programs, as well as legal, financial and educational support. Psychological, humanitarian and, when applicable, medical assistance will also be available.

Labor Minister Askarbek Yertayev said the program targets women balancing delivery work with family responsibilities. The type and extent of assistance will be determined individually.
