Kazakhstan and Singapore Reach New Agreements

Kazakhstan and Singapore signed agreements on water management, transport, trade and digitalization, Orda.kz reports.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met Singapore’s Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong during his first visit to Kazakhstan.

Tokayev proposed expanding cooperation in AI and using Singapore’s expertise to help develop Astana’s new airport. He also awarded Lee the Order of Dostyk, First Class.

The two countries signed agreements on sustainable urban water and waste management, as well as multimodal transport, trade facilitation and digitalization along the Middle Corridor.
