During a meeting with El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele on April 14, Donald Trump said the war in Ukraine was caused by Vladimir Putin, Joe Biden, and Volodymyr Zelensky. He criticized Biden for failing to prevent the war and Zelenskyy for requesting aid without a clear strategy to win.
Trump added that he is working to end the conflict, which he called a result of others' poor leadership, not his policies.
Earlier, on the social network Truth Social, he wrote that the Russian-Ukrainian war is the war of his predecessor Joe Biden:

He previously labeled Zelenskyy a “dictator without elections” and accused him of mismanaging U.S. aid.
