Mongolian President Arrives in Kazakhstan on State Visit

Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Orda.kz reports.
At Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana, the Mongolian leader was met by Kazakhstan’s foreign minister, Yerzhan Kosherbayev, as well as Mongolia’s ambassador to Kazakhstan, Batjargal Gunaajav. The visit will last from April 20 to April 23.




According to the press service of the president of Mongolia, as part of the visit, the heads of state will hold a one-on-one meeting, as well as official talks, and make statements to media representatives. Intergovernmental and interagency documents are also expected to be signed, which should strengthen the legal framework for cooperation between the two countries.
Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh will also take part in the regional environmental summit, which will be held in Kazakhstan’s capital.
