Saida Mirziyoyeva Appointed Head of Uzbek Presidential Administration

The President of Uzbekistan has established the position — Head of the Presidential Administration — by decree, according to presidential spokesperson Sherzod Asadov, Orda.kz reports, citing Gazeta.uz.
Saida Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva has been appointed to the post.
As of August 2023, Mirziyoyeva served as presidential aide. Before that, she led the communications and information policy sector within the administration. She previously held roles at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications and the National Mass Media Support Fund.
Mirziyoyeva holds degrees from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Tashkent State Law University, and Moscow State University. She is a candidate of economic sciences.
The position was previously abolished in a 2023 administrative reform.
