Apartments without Heat: District Qostanay Region Akims Receive Reprimands

Last week, two of the three central heating boiler stations in the Mendykarinsky district stopped operating, and local authorities did not inform anyone. As a result, 80 apartments were left without heating, Orda.kz reports, citing Qostanay News.
For this, the leadership reprimanded the Akim of the Mendykarinsky District, and his deputy, responsible for housing and communal services, was fired.
The district head, B. Mailin, was also brought to disciplinary responsibility.
Reprimand to the district Akim B. Mailin - for the poor work of the company "Tobol." Although the funding was allocated on time, the company spent two weeks on settlements with suppliers of electricity and gas,
said the Qostanay region Akim Kumar Aksakalov.
The issues were eventually resolved.
According to the local media, the boiler stations in the Mendykarinsky district were replaced in 2021-2023, costing 45 million tenge.
The reason for the situation that arose a week ago is still unknown. The district Akimat blames the contractor for supplying low-quality equipment, and the contractor claims improper operation.
