Astana Akimat Gives More Precise Timeline for LRT Launch

The press service of the Astana akimat has confirmed that the launch of the LRT is expected in the near future — within two to three weeks, Orda.kz reports.
Construction of the LRT in Astana has been ongoing for several years. During that time, the project was repeatedly revised and adjusted. According to the akimat, the light rail system is now at its final stage.
We expect the launch of the LRT within two to three weeks.the Astana akimat told Orda.kz.
Once launched, the LRT is expected to become one of the city’s main forms of public transport.
