LRT Dispatcher Positions Open in Astana as Project Advances

Preliminary recruitment has begun in Astana for dispatchers who will oversee operations of the city’s upcoming light rail transit (LRT) system, Orda.kz reports.
The vacancy, listed on the City Transportation Systems (CTS) website, notes that the LRT trains will be fully automated and unmanned. CTS is offering official employment, as well as free training and upskilling, including the issuance of an international certificate upon completion.
Training will take up to six months and will be conducted in Astana and China, fully funded by the employer. All staff will be Kazakhstani citizens, trained specifically in LRT system dispatching,the company stated.
Candidate requirements include a higher education in transport and at least two years of work experience, with a minimum of six months in a dispatcher or operator role.
Trainees will work weekdays during training and transition to a shift-based schedule once the program concludes.
