Armenian investigative authorities have placed two suspects in the homicide of Chechen-born Aishat Baymuradova on a wanted list, and both have been arrested in absentia, Orda.kz reports, citing The Caucasian Knot.
Reportedly, Armenia’s Investigative Committee informed human rights advocates that specific suspects had been identified in the case following their formal inquiry.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 155, Part 2, Point 8 of Armenia’s Criminal Code — premeditated homicide under aggravating circumstances.
Although the suspects' names have not been disclosed, it is said that the direction they took has been established.
Ostorozhno, Novosti previously reported that 30-year-old Chechen native Said-Khamzat Baysarov was captured on surveillance cameras on Demirchyan Street in Yerevan shortly after Baymurodova’s killing.
Together with Karina Iminova, who had arranged to meet Aishat, Baysarov left the apartment where the young woman was later found dead.
