CEC Announces Preliminary Results Of Vote On New Constitution
The Central Commission has announced the preliminary results of the referendum on the new Constitution, Orda.kz reports.
According to preliminary data, 7,954,667 citizens voted in favor of adopting the new Constitution. This is 87.15% of all voters. Another 898,099 people voted against it.
Spoiled ballots:
Both options marked — 127,868.
Unidentified sample — 146,558.
A regional breakdown of the results was also presented.

The total number of citizens of Kazakhstan eligible to participate in the referendum was 12,482,613.
