Luxury Homes and Expensive Brands: Perizat Kairat's Property Seized

A court has seized the property of the co-founder and head of a public charity foundation, Perizat Kairat, Orda.kz reports.
Perizat Kairat is suspected of embezzling 1.7 billion tenge. The money was collected to help Kazakhstanis affected by the spring floods and to support the humanitarian needs of Palestine.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman spent the money on personal needs.
According to the Financial Monitoring Agency, apartments in prestigious residential complexes in Astana were seized: Akbulak Riviera, Highvill Ishim Gold, Kok Zhailau, Sensata Plaza (including parking spaces), as well as a villa in the Vela Village cottage community.


Additionally, expensive cars were confiscated: Mercedes-Benz S450, Mercedes-Benz EQE 500, Lexus LX-600 and Haval, purchased with illicit finances,FMA reported.
During a search of Perizat Kairat's house, they also found a collection of technology, jewelry, and accessories from world brands: Cartier, Rolex, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Chopard, Hermes, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, and others.


The confiscated property was recognized as material evidence and added to the case.
A court will determine what to do with it.

the FMA said.
Kairat, in addition to embezzlement, may face fraud charges and a term of up to 10 years with possible confiscation of property.
