Kazakhtelecom Finds No Internal Fault as Telegram Problems Continue

Telegram remains partially unavailable in Kazakhstan. The Digital Ministry said it had received complaints from users and was investigating the problem, Orda.kz reports.

Kazakhtelecom recorded a sharp decline in Telegram traffic through international exchange points in Frankfurt and Moscow. However, the company found no failures in its own network.

Kazakhtelecom’s network is operating normally. No accidents, technical failures or internal infrastructure disruptions have been recorded,the company said.

Kazakhtelecom has contacted Telegram’s technical team to determine the cause of the disruption and is awaiting a response.

Users across Kazakhstan began reporting problems around noon. Some could not send messages or load media, while others could not open the app.
