According to Downdetector, complaints began rising sharply around noon on August 13. The service’s population-adjusted figures showed that Kazakhstan accounted for 85% of reports submitted during the previous hour.
The most common problems included messages not being sent or received, media files failing to load and lost connections to the service.
The disruption was reported across several operating systems. IOS users accounted for 41.1% of complaints, followed by Android at 33.7%, Windows at 17.9% and macOS at 5.9%.
