Interior Ministry Urges Bloggers to Avoid Provocative Stunts for Views

        Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has urged bloggers not to use social media as a stage for provocative or indecent behavior in pursuit of views and followers, Orda.kz reports.
Recently, videos have appeared showing individuals staging pranks and other public antics to gain attention — including incidents where people harass passersby or appear half-naked in public spaces.
Any illegal, provocative, or immoral actions in public places — whether done for a prank, a contest, a giveaway, likes, or followers — are unacceptable and will result in legal liability,
said Shyngys Alekeshev, official representative of the ministry.
The Interior Ministry said it will continue to monitor and respond to such behavior, urging Kazakhstanis — especially young people — not to fall for dubious online trends.
