How many Kazakhstanis remain in the Middle East — MFA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the evacuation of Kazakh citizens from countries in the Middle East, Orda.kz reports.
Yerlana Zhetybayeva, the official representative of the department, said that there was no information about injured or deceased Kazakh citizens.
Kazakhstanis remaining in the Middle East:
- Iran — 47
- Israel — 163
- Qatar — more than 3,000
- UAE — more than 4,000
- Saudi Arabia — 1,800
So far, 946 Kazakhstani citizens have been evacuated. A flight from Muscat is expected to arrive in Almaty today. It will bring 314 people. A second group of 230 people will follow. Thus, more than 500 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan will return from Oman.
Flights from Jeddah to Atyrau and Aktau are also expected today. Fifteen citizens were evacuated from Iran by land, first to Armenia and then to Kazakhstan.
