Police Raid in Shymkent Uncovers Widespread Violations Involving Foreign Nationals

Police officers inspected enterprises where, according to operational information, illegal workers could be employed. At one such site, they found 20 foreign nationals working without permits, Orda.kz reports.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said all violators were identified at the scene. According to police, the individuals had been working illegally in Kazakhstan. The materials on each case have now been sent to an administrative court.
The employer also faced consequences. The head of the enterprise was prosecuted for hiring illegal workers.
This was only one of the raid’s results. During the operation, police uncovered more than 100 violations of the rules governing entry, exit and stay in Kazakhstan. According to the relevant agencies, action is already being taken on each case.
The purpose of the raid was to combat illegal migration and prevent human trafficking.
