Exporting Kazakhstan's Oil To Increase in Price

KazTransOil, the national operator of oil pipelines, will increase oil transportation export tariffs starting January 1, 2025, Orda.kz reports.
KazTransOil states that the tariff will be increased by 11.3%.
From January 1, transporting one ton of oil per thousand kilometers will cost 11.3 thousand tenge, excluding VAT— 1,150 tenge more than now.
This will only affect export deliveries.
The operator will also increase tariffs for additional services:
- Oil transshipment at the Makat station to the Kenkiyak-Atyrau oil pipeline – up to 2,436 tenge per ton.
- The Kenkiyak station – up to 740 tenge per ton.
- The Atasu head station to the Atasu-Alashankou oil pipeline – up to 380 tenge per ton.
In early August, information emerged that KazTransOil had decided to reduce tariffs for piping oil on the domestic market but would increase them again on September 1, 2025.
