Kazakhstan Sets Campaign Dates For Kurultai Election

Kazakhstan’s Central Election Commission approved the calendar plan for preparing and holding elections to the Kurultai, the country’s new unicameral parliament. The vote is scheduled for August 23, 2026, Orda.kz reports.
The plan was presented by CEC Deputy Chairman Mukhtar Yerman. According to the approved schedule, the nomination of party lists will begin on July 2 and end at 18:00 on July 13.
