Transtelecom To Spend Nearly 400 Billion Tenge On Data Center In Ekibastuz

Transtelecom plans to sign deals worth nearly 400 billion tenge to build a data center in Ekibastuz as part of the Valley of Data Centers project, Orda.kz reports, citing Forbes.kz.
The company will purchase construction and related services for the data center from KT-Telecom, a subsidiary of Kazakhtelecom, and Bastau Project.
Information about the transactions was published on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
As of April 1, 2026, KT-Telecom was fully owned by Kazakhtelecom. Transtelecom is 75% owned by Unit Telecom LLP, while the remaining 25% belongs to the national railway company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
