Toqayev and Putin Hold Phone Call

Kazakhstan’s President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda.
The two leaders discussed cooperation in trade, energy, industry, and culture. According to the statement, they also exchanged views on “current issues of the regional and international agenda.”
Toqayev is expected to travel to Moscow in November to take part in an interregional forum as part of his upcoming state visit.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin reported that Toqayev shared his impressions of his trip to New York, where he participated in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly and met with the leaders of several countries.
The President of Kazakhstan met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the UN.
