Tokayev Discusses Middle East Escalation With Qatar’s Emir

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Orda.kz reports.
The president expressed concern about the escalation of the conflict and voiced his support for Qatar during this period. The Emir thanked Astana for its position and confirmed his intention to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan.
At the end of the conversation, Tokayev wished the people of Qatar peace and prosperity during the holy month of Ramadan.
