Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev welcomed King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan at Astana airport, Orda.kz reports.
Tomorrow, the two heads of state are scheduled to hold talks and take part in the Kazakh-Jordanian Business Forum.
From the moment King Abdullah’s plane entered Kazakhstan’s airspace until it landed in Astana, it was escorted by Kazakh Air Defense Forces Su-30SM fighter jets.
In February this year, Toqayev visited Jordan. Following those talks, several memorandums and other cooperation documents were signed.
