Snow Leopard Caught on Camera in Katon-Karagay

National park employees in Kazakhstan had a remarkable discovery while reviewing footage from cameras used to monitor rare animals listed in the country’s Red Book, Orda.kz reports.
In the Altai forestry of the Altai branch, a camera trap captured an extraordinary sight: a snow leopard was recorded on video, stated the Forestry and Wildlife Committee under the Ministry of Ecology.
This majestic predator is classified as a rare and endangered species.
The newly captured footage highlights the area's favorable conditions for wildlife preservation.
Previously, a camera trap in Altyn-Emel National Park recorded another snow leopard, this time with cubs.
