Qyzylorda Schoolgirl: Third Sentence Handed Down
Today, the third verdict was announced in the sexual exploitation case involving a schoolgirl, Orda reports, citing #NeMolchi.
NeMolchi reported the latest trial concerns a sauna administrator who had faced a similar charge a year earlier; she received a suspended sentence.
She was charged with repeated pandering involving a minor.
The maximum sentence is seven years in prison.
The prosecution requested 4.5 years.
The victim’s representative forgave the defendant and left the term and type of punishment to the discretion of the court, the court said in a statement.
The court later sentenced the administrator to 4.5 years.
The first two sentences in the same case were handed down in November and early December.
In the first case, the defendant also received 4.5 years; in the second, six years and eight months.
