A closed court hearing was held in Qyzylorda. The case materials specify that the defendant threatened the schoolgirl with dissemination of defamatory information, demanded 700 thousand tenge, and also took 35 thousand tenge from her bag.
The defendant’s guilt is confirmed by the conclusion of a psychological and psychiatric examination, an inspection of the crime scene, protocols of in-person questionings, and the consistent circumstances of the victim, the statement says.
The court found the defendant guilty under Article 194 — "Extortion."
The article provides for a custodial punishment of three to seven years. Given the lack of a criminal record and the young age, the court sentenced the defendant to four years and six months.
I am happy with the verdict as the mother of my daughter. But I was worried along with his mother. I am also a mother, it was very painful. Felt unwell with blood pressure and heart problems. Tomorrow, there will be two court hearings at once, against the sauna administrators, the victim's mother said.
