Qyzylorda Schoolgirl: Another Sentence Handed Down
Another verdict has been passed in Qyzylorda in the case of a 16-year-old girl who faced sexual exploitation, Orda reports.
The defendant in the dock is the person who forced the minor into prostitution.
The court found that the defendant had blackmailed the young girl several times.
The man also deceived people by promising to sell them land or get them jobs at the Akimat for money.
The court found him guilty, sentencing him to six years and eight months in prison.
Two other cases of pandering and one of incitement to drug use are pending before the courts, where the victim is the same girl.
In total, 13 people are implicated.
The first verdict in the case was handed down a month ago. At that time, the extortionist who threatened the victim with disseminating defamatory information was convicted.
