Qyzylorda Schoolgirl's Mother Shares New Details
The main trial of the sexual exploitation case has begun in Qyzylorda. The case concerns the sexual exploitation of a involving a 16-year-old schoolgirl. According to representatives of the injured party, one count has been reviewed openly; the girl's mother is against it, Orda.kz reports.
Hearings on one of the extortion counts have already been scheduled twice. Both times, they were postponed because the defendant's lawyer was busy with another case. The woman is dissatisfied that the judge conducted the trial in an open mode. This means that the girl's personal data and details of the incident are announced in court, and the public and the media can be present.
We also motioned to have the case sent for pre-trial investigation. The court declined our request. Because one of the extortionists is being tried separately, and not as a member of the group in which he operated for selfish purposes. We believe that all suspects should be charged as a group of people. The separate trial that has now begun is an attempt to divert a person from a more severe punishment, said the girl's mother.
According to her, the indictment now sounds like the suspect has no connection to the other three suspects, although there is a witness.

The main trial of the count concerning a Qyzylorda sauna was held on November 4. The trial will begin on November 12. 11 people are under investigation, and two cases relating to one suspect and the sauna administrator have already been submitted to the court.
