Oskemen Airport Fined and Stripped of Monopoly Income

The Agency for Protection and Development of Competition said JSC Oskemen Airport had been held liable following an investigation, Orda.kz reports.
According to the agency, the airport set and maintained monopolistically high prices in the retail sale of aviation fuel.
By the decision of the court of first instance, which was upheld by the East Kazakhstan Regional Court on January 14, 2026, JSC Oskemen Airport was brought to administrative responsibility. The company was fined 8.9 million tenge, and monopoly income in the amount of 10.6 million tenge was also ordered confiscated to the state.the agency said.
