The resorts of Kazakhstan welcomed 4.9 million people in 2025, which is 11.6% more than a year earlier, Orda.kz reports, citing Energyprom.
In five years, the tourist flow has nearly tripled. The absolute leader is the Almaty mountain cluster. The main points of attraction are Shymbulak, Ak-Bulak, Pioneer and the all-season Oi-Qaragai resort.
In the winter season of 2025/2026 alone, Oi-Qaragai was visited by more than 365,000 people, 28% more than a year earlier. Second place went to Borovoye with 463,000 visitors, an increase of 33.6%.
