Kazakhstan’s Budget Revenues Rose By Nearly 17%
Kazakhstan’s state budget revenues exceeded the plan in the first quarter of 2026 and rose by nearly 17 % year-on-year, Orda.kz reports, citing the government press service.
With 6.2 trillion tenge planned, the budget received 6.4 trillion tenge. The overfulfilment amounted to 268.7 billion tenge. Compared with the same period last year, revenues increased by 930.6 billion tenge, or 16.9 %.
Revenue growth was recorded in both the republican and local budgets.
The main factors behind the increase were favourable prices for export goods, higher sales of goods and services, as well as tax and customs administration.
