Kazakhstani cargo carriers can now obtain electronic permits to enter Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, Orda.kz reports.
The elicense.kz portal has expanded the list of countries for which carriers can obtain foreign permit forms online. Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan have been added to the electronic format.
Kazakhstani carriers need foreign permit forms to transport goods in another country. Kazakhstan receives and issues such permits through bilateral exchanges with other states.
The service is available to Kazakhstani companies and individual entrepreneurs. A carrier’s vehicle must be registered in Kazakhstan and authorized for international road transport.
To apply, the carrier must select the “Transport” section, enter company, representative, vehicle and country details, choose the type of form and specify the number of permits needed.
After the Ministry of Transport’s system checks the request, electronic permits are reserved for the applicant. The carrier then pays the fee and signs the request.
The permit must be issued two working days in advance. The completed document will appear in the portal’s personal account. The form is valid for 30 days from the date the notification is received. The cost is one MCI per form.
