Kanye West Gets Almaty Stadium as FC Kairat Heads to Turkestan

FC Kairat will play its home match in the third qualifying round of a European competition in Turkestan, Orda.kz reports.

According to the club’s press service, the match is being moved because Kanye West is scheduled to perform at Almaty’s Central Stadium on August 14.

The concert organizers had previously announced the show at the stadium, while a ticketing service said sales would begin soon. FC Kairat responded at the time that the date and venue had not been agreed with the club.

Because of the concert and Kairat’s busy European schedule, the team will now be unable to play the match at its home stadium. The club asked UEFA to move the game, and the request was approved.
