How Much Do Couriers In Kazakhstan Really Earn?

Delivery services in Kazakhstan advertise courier jobs with salaries of up to 1.5 million tenge per month. Such vacancies can be found on Hh.kz and Enbek.kz. But actual courier incomes are usually much lower, Orda.kz reports, citing Finprom.kz.
According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the average salary in postal and courier services was 291,900 tenge in the first quarter of 2026.
The highest offers are posted by large delivery services in Almaty. Couriers using trucks and order delivery workers are promised the most. In Astana and Karaganda, the upper limit is slightly lower, at 1.3 million tenge. In Shymkent, it is 1.2 million tenge.
But such amounts are possible only with maximum workload and a large number of orders. Couriers also usually pay taxes, fees, and transport maintenance costs themselves.
There are practically no open-source stories about couriers earning 1.5 million tenge per month. Most couriers in Almaty and Astana receive about 300,000 tenge, while the most active ones earn up to 450,000–500,000 tenge, analysts said.
On the state labour exchange Enbek.kz, the figures are even more modest. Employers there offer couriers between 85,000 and 103,000 tenge per month.
In major cities, incomes are higher than the national average. In Astana, the average courier salary reached 474,800 tenge, while in Almaty it was 424,700 tenge. In some regions, the figure does not exceed 200,000 tenge.
