Floods In Akmola Region Enter Active Phase, Ministry Of Emergency Situations Says

Flood response measures are being intensified in the Akmola region, where authorities are pumping out water and protecting settlements, Orda.kz reports.
The main work is now being carried out in the Tselinograd district. An additional group of personnel and equipment has been deployed there. Units from the Burabay district and the city of Kokshetau have also joined the flood response. Specialised equipment, including pump-and-hose vehicles used to remove meltwater, has been brought in.
According to the latest information, about 14 000 cubic metres of water have been pumped out in the Tselinograd district over the past 24 hours.
The situation remains tense, but emergency services say it is under constant control. Monitoring is being carried out around the clock, and all necessary personnel and resources have been mobilised, the ministry added.
Earlier, we wrote about the current situation in the regions. Eleven regions remain in the risk zone, while four are on heightened alert. In some places, water is already flowing over roads.
