An Essential EU Partner: Toqayev Invited to Prague
The Head of State received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky, Aqorda reports.
Welcoming Jan Lipavsky, President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev noted the long-term and fruitful nature of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic, based on friendship and mutual respect.
The Head of State expressed confidence that the Minister's visit would give additional impetus to strengthening the multifaceted cooperation between the countries. He said Kazakhstan is committed to close collaboration with the Czech Republic, which it views as an EU essential partner.
The President drew attention to the potential for further trade and investment ties, expressing our country's readiness to continue supporting Czech investors.
Jan Lipavsky thanked the Head of State for the opportunity to meet and conveyed to him an invitation from the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, to visit Prague on an official visit.
The head of the Czech Foreign Ministry emphasized that growing economic contacts are the basis of Kazakh-Czech cooperation. Jan Lipavsky named "green" transition and energy among the priority areas of joint work.
