The management of Kazakhstan’s national power grid operator KEGOC received nearly half a billion tenge in 2025. Salaries and financial incentives totalled 496.3 million tenge, according to a document published by the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, Orda.kz reports.
The report does not specify how much of the total was paid as salaries and how much consisted of bonuses and other incentives. The company disclosed only the combined figure.
Questions about the reliability of Kazakhstan’s power grid remain unresolved. A recent major blackout affected several regions, while KEGOC is responsible for transmitting electricity across the country.
Earlier, Orda.kz reported that KEGOC, which operates Kazakhstan’s national power grid, approved more than 22 billion tenge in dividends for the second half of 2024.
