Almost 100 Houses Flooded After Heavy Rain In Mangistau Region

Work continues in the village of Beineu to deal with the aftermath of flooding caused by heavy rain, Orda.kz reports, citing the local akimat.
According to local authorities, rainwater accumulated in the yards of 85 residential buildings. Specialists have already pumped out more than 7000 cubic metres of water.
Twenty-five units of special equipment and 37 employees are involved in the response. The work is continuing around the clock.
The akimat also said a special hotline is available for residents. They can use it to report new flooding cases or request emergency assistance.
