The Ukrainian president said in an interview with Fox News that Kyiv and its partners have proposed several countries as possible venues for a meeting with Russia at the level of heads of state, Orda.kz reports.
According to him, the options include Türkiye, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Austria, or Switzerland.
“If you want, then, for example, in Kazakhstan,” Zelenskyy added, noting he was prepared for a trilateral meeting without any preconditions.
The day before, the Ukrainian leader met with Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev in New York. Toqayev emphasized that even in such a difficult situation, it is important to continue seeking peaceful solutions to the conflict.
During the UN General Assembly, Zelenskyy also held talks with the U.S. president.
Following that meeting, Donald Trump wrote that Ukraine, with the support of the EU and NATO, is capable of retaking all occupied territories, pointing to the “economic problems” Ukraine is creating for Russia.
