Two Kazakhtelecom Employees Die in Separate Workplace Incidents

Two Kazakhtelecom employees died at work in separate incidents in the Zhambyl and Kostanay regions on August 4 and 5, Orda.kz reports.
The Kostanay Region Police Department told Orda.kz that one incident occurred in the village of Moskalevka in the Auliekol district.
A reinforced-concrete pole fell on an electrician during dismantling work at a communications facility. The employee died at the scene.
Police have opened a criminal case and are investigating the circumstances.
The second fatal incident occurred in the Zhambyl region on August 4. Police launched a pretrial investigation into a possible violation of occupational safety regulations.
Investigators are working to establish the circumstances and cause of the employee’s death.
