They Were Too Loud: Arsenal Fans Fined In Aktau
Arsenal fans in Aktau were fined after celebrating the London club’s Premier League title win too loudly, Orda.kz reports.
Videos of a double-decker bus driving through the city spread on social media. Fans on the second floor waved flags, cheered, and chanted.
Police did not share their enthusiasm. The Mangystau region Police Department said the bus driver was held liable for violating passenger transportation and seat belt rules, while passengers were fined for disturbing the peace.
Police also held a preventive conversation with the fans. They were reminded to follow public order rules, comply with traffic regulations, and respect the rights of others.
