Sherzat Polat Homicide Case: Prosecutor's Office Issues Statement
The case materials will be submitted to the court soon, Orda.kz reports.
The criminal case concerning the killing of Sherzat Polat in Talgar will soon come to an end. They are still waiting for the examination results, after which the materials will be handed over for review.
We have carried out the necessary investigative actions and all suspects have been detained, The Almaty Region Prosecutor's Office commented.
As for the arson of the teenager’s family home and the recent death of his uncle, Nurganat Gaipbayev, the criminal cases are still being investigated.
They are under the control of the Prosecutor General's Office. We call on the public to refrain from disseminating false information, added the supervisory authority.
Talgar has been in the spotlight after the death of 16-year-old Sherzat Polat, after which residents spoke out and demanded a fair investigation.
The family's house was burned down.
