Since the start of the main UNT-2026, test results have been cancelled for 711 applicants, while another 326 people were not allowed to take the exam after attempting to bring in prohibited items, Orda.kz reports, citing the results of the sixth week of testing.
Most graduates chose Kazakh as the language of testing. According to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, 72% of applicants took the UNT in Kazakh, 28% in Russian, and 469 people in English.
The average score across five subjects was 64 points. The maximum score of 140 was achieved by Asset Altair from Pavlodar Region.
The ministry said special attention was paid to creating comfortable conditions for applicants with special educational needs. A total of 735 such applicants took part in the UNT.
Over six weeks, organizers identified 624 violations of testing rules. A total of 385 applicants were suspended from the exam for attempting to bring in smartphones, smart glasses, earphones, cheat sheets, and other prohibited items. Another 238 people were removed from exam rooms for violations during testing, after which their results were cancelled.
After reviewing video recordings, organizers also cancelled the result of one more participant. The ministry said no cases of substitute test-takers were detected.
After the UNT ends, specialists will continue reviewing surveillance camera recordings until October 31. If the review reveals the use of prohibited items or other rule violations, test results will be cancelled.
In total, about 240,000 applicants applied to take the UNT. Taking into account two attempts, organizers received more than 446,000 applications.
