Seven Forest Fires Reported Across Kazakhstan in One Day

Seven forest fires broke out across Kazakhstan on August 1, Orda.kz reports, citing the Ecology Ministry.
The fires were extinguished in the Akmola and Kostanay Regions and in the Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve.
They were detected during aerial surveillance flights by Kazavialesookhrana, the country’s aerial forest protection service, and during ground patrols by forest rangers.
Forestry crews and aerial forest protection specialists were deployed with specialized equipment to extinguish the fires.
