Saken Mamash Taken Into Custody

Police have officially confirmed that former advisor to Kazakhstan’s ambassador to the UAE, Saken Mamash, has been taken into custody, Orda reports.
A special investigative task force was created to handle the case. Experts conducted examinations and gathered the necessary evidence.
Based on the results of the investigation, the chosen measure of restraint is detention, The police reported.
Other details are not being disclosed in the interest of the investigation.
The case involving Saken Mamash and Karina Gosman (formerly Mamash) has drawn widespread public attention. Karina first accused Mamash of physical abuse in May 2024, when he was still serving at Kazakhstan’s embassy in the UAE.
In late March, Karina Gosman reported being pressured by her former husband.
