Deputy Agriculture Minister Azat Sultanov confirmed that rainmaking technology was being tested but could not explain how it worked. He said the ministry was not involved in the experiment.
As far as I know, various technologies are used around the world, including methods involving chemical reactions. However, I cannot say which technology is being used there without risking giving you inaccurate information,Sultanov said at a government briefing.
He also said that Kazakhstan’s crops had not suffered significant damage despite the extreme heat and drought.
