President of Tajikistan’s Youngest Daughter Appointed Head of Department in Health Ministry

The youngest daughter of the President of Tajikistan, Farzona Emomali, has been appointed head of the Department for Reforms, Primary Health Care, and International Relations at the Ministry of Health, Orda.kz reports.
At 27, she already holds a degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Tajik State Medical University and has completed a residency in pediatrics. In 2023, she graduated from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan. She has worked in the department she now heads as a specialist since 2021.
Farzona Emomali is a member of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan. According to the ministry’s press release, she is unmarried and raising a child alone.
However, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Tajik Service (Ozodi), in 2022, she married Safarkhon Rahmon, the son of then Prosecutor General Yusuf Rahmon. In 2025, Safarkhon Rahmon was dismissed from his post.
In late 2024, Oguljahan Atabaeva, the eldest daughter of former Turkmenistan president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, became Vice President for Medical Affairs of the charitable foundation named after her father.
That same year, the youngest daughter of Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Shakhnosa, was elected Deputy Chair of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan. His other daughter, Saida, has also been appointed to a prominent position more recently.
