Perizat Kairat's Mother in Temporary Detention Facility

Gaini Alashbayeva, Perizat Kairat's mother, is also a suspect in a case concerning the embezzlement of 1.7 billion tenge collected for those affected by the spring floods, Orda.kz reports.
According to Orda.kz's sources, Alashbayeva was detained the day before and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigative court will decide on a preventive measure in the coming days.
The investigation believes the mother helped withdraw money from the charity fund Kairat headed.
