AMANAT's executive secretary, deputy of the Majilis Yelnur Beisenbayev, spoke about the affiliation of the scandalous charity fund Biz Birgemiz Qazaqstan 2030 with members of the ruling party, Orda.kz reports.
He says the fund, headed by the arrested blogger Perizat Kairat, has no connection to the party but has connections to its members.
This fund has nothing to do with the party, it is a private fund. There are a number of people who are the founders of this fund. The media reported that they are members of the AMANAT party. Yes, they are members of the AMANAT party, including Arystanbek Magzumov, Sergey Matyushenko, but in 2021 they were activists, volunteers, they had the goal of creating a community where they would develop volunteer activities, somewhere there were probably good intentions that they would do charity work. And today, yes, these guys work for us. One works as an executive secretary, but this does not mean...,
Beisenbaev said, not finishing his thought.
He added that this issue should be investigated.
The deputy emphasized that the AMANAT party has no relation to "Public Organization Biz Birgemiz Qazaqstan 2030" or "Birgemiz," which are often confused due to similar names.
Another deputy, Sergei Ponomarev, also commented:
Now I've seen several names, I can only say one thing, that swindlers are so sophisticated, so cunning, so evasive, that they can probably gain the trust of any people, regardless of their nationality, party, religion, etc. Well, I think the competent authorities will sort this out, said Ponomarev.
He was also asked about the strictness of the selection process for the ruling party.
According to him, since the Nur Otan era, the selection process has become much more rigorous.
You know, the selection process for the party has changed a lot. And the party got rid of many people, random people, corrupt people. Indeed, the party's composition has been greatly renewed. And I see this, and now there are young guys who are not coming for not but to change life for the better. And I can say that in Perizat's case, we need to look at other aspects. For example, how did it happen that she managed to steal such a sum, a colossal sum of 1.5 billion tenge, and no one was able to control it. But this is not 10 or 15 million, this is simply an enormous sum that went completely unchecked by everyone, added the deputy.
