Patient Fined for Threatening Kostanay Medical Worker

A 70-year-old Kostanay resident was fined for threatening and insulting an employee of the Bios dialysis center, Orda.kz reports, citing the Kostanay Regional Court.
The incident occurred on July 16. During a medical procedure, the man swore at the employee and threatened her with violence.
The court took into account his age and the fact that he had no previous administrative offenses.
The court found D. guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a fine of 30 monthly calculation indices. Under the law, the fine was reduced by 30% to 90,825 tenge,the Kostanay Regional Court said.
The ruling has not yet entered into force.
